| Biography: | Mr. Smith joined Hamilton Faatz and Waller, PC in 2010 and is the Chair of the firm’s Health Care Group. Prior to joining Hamilton Faatz and Waller, PC, Mr. Smith spent his entire legal career with the Denver law firm of Burns, Wall, Smith and Mueller, PC and served as a shareholder in that firm for more than thirty years. Mr. Smith’s practice concentrates on the legal aspects of business matters, including entity organization and operation, mergers, acquisitions, contracting and regulatory compliance, for home health and rehabilitation agencies, provider networks, medical, technology and service enterprises, nonprofit organizations, as well as for physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dentists, veterinarians, and other health care professionals, their practices and professional, trade and related charitable organizations. Mr. Smith grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado and has been married to his wife, Marcia, for more than forty years. The Smiths have one son, Patrick, who is currently in college studying audio production. Mr. Smith and his wife enjoy travel, golf (despite playing rather poorly), reading, music and the arts. They also enjoy professional sports, especially the Rockies and Avalanche and, in some years, the Broncos. |
